Heel Pain Center

Welcome to the Heel Pain Center at Valley Foot & Ankle

In 2016 Valley Foot and Ankle established the Heel Pain Center. This designation sets us apart from other providers and represents the specialized approach we take when addressing heel pain. The Heel Pain Center is built from over 40 years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating heel pain.

The difference is in our approach:

We take the time. Our doctors are not “in and out” of the treatment room. New patient visits are scheduled for 45 minutes and almost all of this time will be face-to-face with your doctor.

We have the tools. Along with a unique clinical exam that focuses on the heel our doctors have in-office digital X-rays and high resolution ultrasound to assess your symptoms.

We know the difference. Is it really plantar fasciitis or is it something more? We know heel pain. Our doctors will be able to determine if your heel pain is caused by conditions such as plantar fasciitis, trauma, nerve entrapment, neuritis (Baxter’s neuritis, medial calcaneal neuritis) or other causes like forms of arthritis or growth center pain in kids.

We have the treatments. We offer a unique set of treatments all under one roof. Our doctors will never tell you to simply stretch, ice and take Motrin (sound familiar?) We offer treatments that allow your heel pain to improve while often being able to stay active.

Some of our unique treatments include:

  • Radial Shock Wave Therapy (RSWT)
  • Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
  • Laser Scanned Custom Orthotics (that are actually comfortable)
  • Alternatives to Cortisone Injections: Amniotic growth factor injections, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin B12
  • MLS Musculoskeletal Laser Therapy
  • Expert Shoe Advice and Shoe Resources
  • Endoscopic Surgical Techniques

If you are having heel pain for the first time, or perhaps you have even been treated by another doctor and the treatments above do not sound familiar to you, then it is definitely time you gave your heel pain the attention it deserves.
